PANELS

The panels held in Bergama and Soma, and the discussions in Ayvalık, within the scope of the project, open up discussions on the environmental, social, and economic impacts of energy transition from different perspectives. Topics ranging from the dispossession processes created by renewable energy investments to the effects of phasing out coal on labor and livelihoods are addressed with the participation of academics, artists, local actors, and workers. These meetings aim to contribute to the establishment of dialogue between different fields of knowledge and experience, while connecting discussions on environmental justice and just transition with local experiences.
